Bar Transformation
Let’s Do Laundry
We had so much fun transforming my old laundry room into a bar. This space is used daily by everyone who enters our home. One side is mainly my sweet daughter Catherine’s, and the rest is ours (adult use only). We needed a multifunctional space near our kitchen for storage and found it strange to have our old laundry room basically in the kitchen. So we moved our laundry room downstairs in the basement (this will be a separate blog post) and designed a beautiful bar area.
Having a designated area for storage and additional appliances near the kitchen can make meal preparation and everyday living more convenient. It also provides a central gathering point for socializing and relaxation, which is especially important for entertaining our guests. We still have an inside joke when we want a beverage or cocktail with our friends to go do laundry. This truly is our favorite space in our home. Take a look at the before and after!
